My Change Jar List..

- a surf board
- a new sewing machine
- a beautiful cup full of black ink pens
- a writing desk with a blotter
- cut flowers
- a fish tank full of neon tetras
- a jar of pretty glass marbles
Everyone should have a list of silly or frivolous things they would like to have but probably won’t buy any time soon. I call mine the Change Jar List because I like to think that when the change jar has enough coinage in it I’ll go ahead and use it to buy something reckless.
The forth week in August, I had the pleasure and surprise of walking into my parent’s house to find a brand new sewing machine waiting for me. My father had traded two of his routers for a brand new machine that rivaled the machines I had only dreamed of owning and totally blew the old machine my sister in law stole from me, away. I cried, the difficulties of the past few years finally gone. Thanks Pops, you’re the best.
